J.K. Rowling's Message about "Helping Haiti Heal"

Categories: News , JK Rowling , Charity Auction , Fandom So far "Helping Hait Heal," a ground-roots project that many Harry Potter fans have come together for to help Haiti has raised $112,000 that will be donated to Partners in Health who are helping the nation rebuild. J.K. Rowling was hearing all the amazing things that fans have done for Haiti and she sent a message for all the fans. "To everyone who has helped raise such an incredible amount for the earthquake survivors in Haiti: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Like many others, I made a personal donation to the DEC shortly after the earthquake happened; but never did I expect such an amazing response from all of you. You cannot imagine how awed, moved and humbled I am to know that planes named Harry, Ron and Hermione are going to be flying off to help. I did not need this to remind me how extraordinary Harry’s fans are, but you keep giving me proofs. THANK YOU! - Jo" Keep helping Haiti heal by either donating what ever you can to the cause or by letting people know about the cause and having them donate. All the support everyone can do will help. |
